I am a Senior Solution Architect at SOA People Nordic, based in Aalborg, Denmark. With over two decades of dedicated experience in the SAP ecosystem, my professional journey began back in 2004. Since then, I have evolved alongside the technology, transitioning from early SAP Enterprise Portal implementations to architecting modern, cloud-native solutions on SAP BTP and Fiori Launchpad.
My technical foundation is built on a degree in Computer Science paired with a Graduate Diploma (HD) from Aalborg University. This dual background allows me to bridge the critical gap between complex technical challenges and strategic business objectives. Throughout my career, I have acted as the technical lead and trusted advisor on large-scale projects for major public and private organizations. My core focus lies within the SAP HCM domain—covering everything from intricate PA/OM and ESS/MSS implementations to Time Management and seamless integrations between SAP On-Premise and SuccessFactors.
I am a fierce advocate for software craftsmanship. I strictly adhere to CLEAN ABAP standards and enterprise design patterns. For me, professional software engineering is not merely about writing code that works; it is about minimizing technical debt and creating maintainable, elegant architectures that stand the test of time.
Beyond the screen, I am a dedicated tinkerer who thrives on understanding how things work from the inside out. My home office is a laboratory of sorts, where I spend my downtime optimizing Linux server environments, automating my smart home with Home Assistant, or fine-tuning my 3D printer. I am also a massive audiophile. There is a profound parallel between a beautifully engineered software system and a high-fidelity audio setup playing a classic jazz pressing.
I share my life in Aalborg with my wife Mathilde, our two sons, Rasmus and Emil, and our Chief Happiness Officer—a Golden Doodle named Walter.
